Beginning in March 2021, CREDO Mobile will start retiring one of it's networks, "Network B". Therefore, we are moving all CREDO members to our newest network, "Network A" — the nation’s largest, most reliable 4G LTE and most advanced 5G nationwide network — by January 31st, 2022.
CREDO will invite customers in groups. If your device is network eligible, you will receive a special email invitation with a link to upgrade.

Step 1 - Order your new SIM card
Getting your new SIM is easy! If you are eligible, you will receive an email with a link to order your SIM card.
Click the ‘Upgrade Now’ button, confirm your address, and place the order in just a few seconds! You’ll receive a confirmation email with the below next steps.
Step 2 - Prepare to activate your new SIM card
While you’re waiting for your SIM card to arrive, here are some simple items to consider:
- Backing up your phone, especially your apps and photos:

Your new SIM card should arrive in 5-7 days depending on where you live.
Step 3 - Activate your new SIM card online
IMPORTANT INFO ALERT — make sure you have 45-60 minutes free when you start this process. And we recommend starting during weekday business hours - 8AM to 5PM PT. We can help you faster during this time if a bump in the road happens… unlikely, but just in case.
SUPER IMPORTANT INFO ALERT — do NOT change the SIM in your phone until instructed to do so on the activation web page.
To activate your SIM, visit credomobile.com/activate, enter your phone number and billing ZIP code, and click the 'Get Started' button to begin.
After you confirm your device and SIM card info, the network activation process takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
As your activation processes, you should see this screen:
On rare occasions, an activation issue will occur. When this happens, CREDO Customer Service is automatically notified. Simply follow the instructions you see on the screen and we will help you!
Step 4 - Finish activation and test your phone
Once the Activation process finishes, you will see this screen:
Follow these simple steps to complete your move to the new network:
- Turn your phone off
- Remove the current SIM and replace it with your new SIM card. (Learn how to insert your SIM card.)
- Turn your phone on and follow any on-screen prompts to complete activation
- Test your voice service by calling a friend OR this test number: 888-281-2461
- Test messaging by texting a friend or family member
- And finally, test data by navigating to a webpage in the mobile browser you normally use
Step 5 - Enjoy your new network!
You’re all set to enjoy the nation’s largest, most reliable 4G LTE and most advanced 5G nationwide network; all while continuing to support progressive causes!
