Below is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the network upgrade via eSIM. eSIM is easy, completes in minutes and there is no new equipment needed. Most devices are eSIM compatible.
Make sure to backup any voicemails that you want saved before upgrading the network. Any voicemails not backed up before upgrading the network will be lost.
Before completing steps below, remove any physical SIM card you have in your device and the device you are upgrading is connected to your Wi-Fi Network.
The steps below must be done on a device (computer, tablet, other phone) that is NOT being upgraded.
- Login to your account at www.credomobile.com/sign-in. Scroll down on the main page to the number you are upgrading.
- Under each phone number on the account > Select Upgrade Network Now
- Select Upgrade with eSIM
- Verify Device IMEI 2 displaying is your current device > Submit Request
- You can find the IMEI 2 in the settings on your device
- Apple - Go to Settings - General - About
- Android - Go to Settings - About Phone
- If the IMEI 2 is not correct, enter the correct IMEI 2
- NOTE: Only enter the numbers, no spaces
- You will receive a message on the screen letting you know the network upgrade request has been sent
- Once the request has been processed, you will be returned to the main Member Services page
- The upgrade takes 2-4 minutes to complete, you will see a 'Check Status' button on your screen to refresh the screen until the upgrade is complete
- Once completed the QR Code will popup on the screen
- You will scan the QR Code when prompted with your current device (device with IMEI 2 you submitted on previous screen) using directions below, or watch the videos here.
- iPhone Devices: Settings > Cellular > Add Plan (or Add eSIM) > follow device prompts
- Android Devices: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM > follow device prompts
- If prompted on your device select Primary for Voice and Cellular Data Settings
- You can select the X button in the top right corner to close the screen once you are done with the QR Code
UPGRADE NOTE:
The upgrade network will display as CREDO Mobile (not just CREDO) and the ICCID on your device will begin with 8901 (not 8914)
